2. We set up a new style of Management Company which was basically like the old fashioned, traditional family ship owner companies where we operated the ships entirely as if they belongs to us and with the view to improving reliability, reducing running costs and giving a general better service.
3. We aim to offer a quality service and we will not dilute that, we will not reduce that service in order to expand.
4. We will expand organically as and when it's time to do so in order to maintain the level of quality of service that we think ship owner deserve.
5. Some of the ship owners felt that they were being not well managed, with respect to maintenance and the maintenance was costing them too much money for very poor results.
6. We will offer for dry bulk ship owner just about every service they require. We obviously offer technical management, we can do conditions surveys, sale and purchase surveys, risk assessments surveys, all based on our experience of casualties, risk management and the most sophisticated management practices. So if a ship owner wants to buy a ship, we can go on board –we are from ship owning background –we know exactly what the ship owner requires. We will write a report; this is what the owner wants to know, what is the cost of running the ship, how much he has to spend to bring it up to his standards. We can help him by getting the best possible prices. Casualty response, we have a lot of experience in that, we know salvers, we know repairers, so I think anything with a technical aspect to it.
7. We take it personally if we have any problems with port state control. The owners, our clients, have arrived to expect the ship can go into the port and not be arrested or detained because of failures on the part of the management.
